Admissions Process at King’s College UK, Gurugram

Step 1

Enquiry and School Tour

To get started, please complete the Enquiry Form on our website and arrange a school tour at your convenience. We strongly encourage an in-person visit to experience our campus firsthand. However, for families residing abroad or unable to visit, we offer the option of a virtual meeting.

Step 2

Registration cum Admission

King’s College in Gurgaon is widely recognised among the top K12 schools in Gurgaon, combining British academic excellence with a holistic international curriculum.

Step 3

Assessment

Upon submission of the Registration cum Admission Form, along with the required documents and payment of the Registration Fee, your child will be invited to attend an assessment at the school. The assessment will take place as follows:

  • Kindergarten to Class 4:Children will take part in a play-based interaction with the Primary Head, where their learning will be observed through educational games.
  • Class 5 and above: Students will complete a 60-minute written assessment in English and Mathematics, followed by a meeting with the Headmaster.

Step 4

Final Decision

The school will evaluate the assessment, and you will be notified by email regarding your child’s admission outcome.

Step 5

Admission Offer

In case of a positive result, you will receive an Offer of Admission along with the Admission Acceptance Form and the next steps.

Step 6

Acceptance and Final Steps

Once we receive the signed Acceptance of the Offer of Admission, we will contact you with the next steps, including details on completing the admission process and fee payment.

Important Notes

  • Academic Year: 
    • The school’s academic year runs from July to June.
  • Exclusions:
    • The Composite Fee does not include charges for uniforms, textbooks, annual camps, off-campus activities and sports, external examinations, college applications, specialised projects, additional subject support, insurance, visas, etc.
  • Rebates:
    • Annual Payment Rebate: A 5% rebate on the Composite Fee is applicable if all fees for the entire academic year are paid upfront by 10th May.
    • Sibling Rebate: A 10% rebate on the Composite Fee is applicable for younger siblings, as long as an elder sibling remains enrolled at the school.
  • Late Payment Policy:
    • Payments are due on 10th July/ 10th October/ 10th January/ 10th April.
    • A 2% late fee per month applies to outstanding amounts.
    • Fees unpaid beyond 45 days from the due date will result in cancellation of enrolment.
  • Withdrawals:
    • Withdrawals can only occur at the end of a semester.
    • For Semester 1, withdrawal notices must be submitted by 30th November.
    • For the Academic Year, withdrawal notices must be submitted by 30th April.
    • Notices submitted after these dates will incur a Notice Period Fee equivalent to two instalments of the Composite Fee for the following semester.
  • Transport Withdrawals:
    • Parents must provide two months’ notice for transport withdrawal.
    • Withdrawals without notice will attract a half-yearly transport fee.
